Years ago I heard the story of a very straight-laced Leven man who once a year would go to a music festival and go completely berserk for the weekend. His behaviour was spectacular enough that it earned him the nickname Festival Ray.

I never met him but I heard a bit about him. One thing was that he liked Captain Beefheart. I like Captain Beefheart too. So when I did this Captain Beefheart-ish song I named it after him.

So this song is for Festival Ray, whoever he is.
